Beth stafford laird

Beth Stafford Laird was a Bowery Beauty and a Nun in Newsies!  She was an understudy in Company, so it wasn't guaranteed that I'd get to meet her because she would leave early if she wasn't needed.  She stayed late one night, though, so that I could meet her.  She was so sweet and friendly -- I was over the moon with excitement!  We chatted for a few minutes and I was able to let her know just how special Newsies is for me.  She snapped a few pics with me and she loved the towel I gave her.  It was a GREAT night!​​
